BEATS FEST MUSIC BRANDING
Logo & Brand Guide Design
The "Beats Fest" project involved developing a comprehensive branding and logo design for Beatsfest, a dynamic, youth-focused music streaming service. Launched in 2018 by a group of college software engineers, Beatsfest aimed to cater to the musical preferences of Generation Z and Millennials with a fresh and hip aesthetic. The primary objective was to create a visual identity that reflects the brand’s energetic, inclusive, and youthful spirit. This identity needed to resonate across various media and materials, maintaining consistency and enhancing brand recognition.

Design Elements | The Color Palette
A dynamic range of oranges from deep red-orange to light orange was chosen to symbolize energy, community, and warmth, appealing directly to the brand’s target audience.
Orange is a high-energy and attention-grabbing color. It represents the bold and dynamic nature of Beats Fest’s youthful audience and conveys a sense of community and togetherness. Light orange is softer and more welcoming. It can symbolize inclusivity, warmth, and approachability. By combining multiple oranges we have created a dynamic contrast that balances energy with approachability.
Design Elements | The Typography
Arial Black and Arial were selected for their clarity and modern appeal, aligning with the brand's straightforward yet approachable communication style. Arial Black should be reserved for headers & emphasis. Arial should be used as main font for all documents, print, & digital.
THE OUTCOME
The branding successfully amplified Beatsfest's market presence, aligning with its mission to provide a personalized music streaming experience. The cohesive visual identity has improved user engagement and strengthened the brand’s connection with its diverse audience.
